Glenna Kohl 2012 New Year's Day Plunge


When: Sunday, January 1st, 2012
Where: Millway Beach, Barnstable Village, MA

An amazing committee of villagers who hold this event annually chose the Glenna Kohl Fund for Hope as their recipient this year! We want to have a big group of... "Piggy" Supporters to celebrate our accomplishments from 2011 and get some momentum to start 2012 on the right foot! Come out with friends and family (along with some wet suits, parkas, scarves and hats!!!) to donate, support, cheer on and jump in the frigid waters of Barnstable Harbor.

3rd Annual Angel's Masquerade Ball


When: Saturday, October 29th 2011
Where: The Ridge Club, 34 Race Lane, Sandwich MA

The Glenna Kohl Fund for Hope, Inc. hosted the 3rd Annual Angel’s Masquerade Ball on October 29th, 2011 at The Ridge Club in Sandwich, Massachusetts, to raise funds for melanoma research and to spread awareness of the dangerous effects of overexposure to sunlight and tanning. Ticket included dinner, music by Boston's Full Charge, open and cash bar, silent auction, live Canopies for Hope auction, raffles, keynote address, and much more entertainment.

Cape Cod Tech Hosts Skin Cancer Awareness Seminar

When: October 19th, 2011
Where: Cape Cod Regional Tech High School, Harwich MA

Cape Cod Tech Senior Marissa Mitchell hosted a skin cancer awareness seminar as part of her senior project on Friday, October 14th. More than 100 students had the opportunity to learn about the dangers of skin cancer and how to protect themselves.
